Welcome to Custom Lifebooks
We understand how busy parents are, so we have developed two options for assisting you with the creation of your child's lifebook:
- Custom Book: Using the information, pictures, and documents you provide, we will create a lifebook for you. We use only top-quality, archival products in beautiful color schemes personalized to your child. Your lifebook will arrive in an album, each page in an acid-free page protector to ensure it is child-friendly and will last for many years.
- Kit Subscription: You can receive our specially designed monthly kits, filled with all of the materials and instructions you need to create your child's lifebook. The kit subscription lasts for six months, allowing you to create a few pages a month. Each month you will receive worksheets with explanations, resources, and examples of the pages you will be completing as well as the materials you need to create a beautiful finished product.
Whatever option you choose, you will be able to give your child an important document he or she will treasure forever.
At Custom Lifebooks, we believe that all children deserve to know their stories. We are dedicated to helping adoptive parents tell their childrens' adoption stories through the creation of personalized, custom-made lifebooks.
We have seen the importance of lifebooks in helping children understand their adoptions through firsthand experience in our own families. Our mission is to help families and adopted children tell their story.
A lifebook is a document created for your child to tell the story of their entire life - from birth to entry into your family. Lifebooks help validate your child's story, and can help ease some difficult transitions for children. Lifebooks can help adopted children come to terms with difficult concepts, such as why they were relinquished for adoption or why their birthparents could not raise them. We will help you address these issues in gentle, age-appropriate language. A child's lifebook is their private story of how they came to be who they are.
